About Me
Hi! I’m Dawn, a Critical Incident Specialist and Chaplain.
Twice a week I sit in a “circle of courage” with cancer patients. I haven’t had cancer myself, but my dear husband did; he died in 2022. So, I’m a retired caregiver and an active facilitator among this amazing group of people.
It’s my privilege to work with the heroic men and women of Law Enforcement. I am honored to call them my friends, to provide training, and to participate in guided conversations that help them begin their process of recovery following tragedy.
The Blog
Welcome to my blog! I’m excited to begin. Oops, sorry for the half-truth. Actually, I’m only half-excited. I’m also half-nervous about what this new venture might mean for me. Has fear ever kept you from trying something new?
From time to time I write short articles. They appear in compilation books or on-line collections.
